Thank you again for your faith and prayers. Yesterday was such a bright day with Sister McKee responding to some toe, finger and eye movements. Today was faced with a few more challenges with temperature going up and blood pressure going down. The Drs discovered an infection and are working hard to turn it around with Sister McKee so weak that she reverted a bit just to survive. She is a woman of faith though and is determined to win this battle.
Our zone leaders met today with trainings being done by the assistants as I am still at her bedside in ICU for the 14th day. They are stalwart leaders. Our adult children made them breakfast as that is what Sister McKee normally did ( we are so grateful for our children being here). Following their training all of the Zone leaders, Assistants and several Sisters (24) came to the hospital and sang Called to Serve, and I need thee every hour. We then all knelt in prayer around the bed
side of Sister McKee and once again poured our hearts out to the Lord. The spirit was overwhelming as we knelt together. One of our missionaries who recently experienced the death of his own father was there as a leader. He has touched all of our hearts with his faith.
As I looked around at this powerful sight of stalwart young people kneeling and praying for their mission mother whom they all love. It reminded me of the Stripling Warriors in Alma where it was stated, “yea, they had been taught by their mothers that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.” Alma 56:47 Sister McKee has taught them so well in so many conferences. I am so grateful to serve with these Latter Day Warriors. “and they were young men(and women) and they were exceedingly valiant for courage, and also for strength and activity ;but behold this was not all-- they were men(and women) who were true at all times in whatsoever thing they were entrusted. Yea, they were men (and Women) of truth and soberness for they had been taught to keep the commandments of God and to walk uprightly before Him.” Alma 53:20,21
We acknowledge the Savior again and use His atonement daily as we continue this upward climb. We are going to pray this Thursday again at 12:00 our time and 11:00 Idaho time if anyone would like to join in with us. How grateful we are for your kindness, love and prayers. We continue to trust the Lord and know that His design is eternal as we are daily being molded to be more like Him.

your comments during stake conference were so inspiring. Thank you for reminding us to look for rainbows instead of rain!
