Thy Will Be Done

Dear friends and family,

We thank you all again for faith, fasting, and prayer. Sister McKee continues to be in a self induced coma. We are all gathering on Thursday at 11AM Mountain Standard Time to kneel in prayer on her behalf. We know the Lord can produce miracles, and pray daily that His miracle will be for her to return to our family. At the same time, we have faith in Him, and trust Him, and will pray for (Thy will to be done) as we know that He knows what is best for all of us, eternally. We have strong faith in Him and testify of Jesus Christ and His atonement. The atonement blesses our lives daily as we use it to heal pain, suffering, and sorrow, and all kinds of affliction. We invite any who are willing to gather in prayer with us on Thursday, and thank you again for your loving support for the McKee family.

With love,
The William McKee Family

  3. My every moment and thought is of you all and my sweet friend RaNae, I love you all so much. It is so comforting to hear your wonderful testimonies of the plan, and the Lord's will. I have just the spot where I will be at 11 am tomorrow, may have to lock the doors of the store, because everyone I know will be on their knees then too! Your whole family is so loved!

  4. Can’t imagine how much you must miss RaNae’s giggle in the past week. She has absolutely the cutest laugh I have ever heard. I so loved having the two of you teach me, and help my family.
And you continue to teach; as my testimony has been strengthened by your faith, courage and trust in the Lord.
My prayers for that miracle have been, and continue to be with your family.

  5. Dear President McKee and family, my thoughts and prayers are with your family and the missionaries. My heart is breaking for you. I am going to pass this information on to our temple President, Gerald A Mead. I will be placing RaNae's name on the prayer roll as well. Love, Charlotte Ann Frew

  7. President and Sister McKee and family. My prayers have been constant since hearing of RaNae's health problems and I will be praying today at 11. RaNae was my visiting teacher and Bill became my home teacher when we moved into the 1st Ward with one little boy and because of their loving example I became reactivated in the church and later on sent two missionaries out from the Chubbuck Stake. These two precious people supported me through many trials and I want you to know of my appreciation and love for you all. May the Lord bless RaNae and heal her if that is his will and may you all be comforted this day when you feel of the power of all the prayers being said on your behalf. Love you all. Brent and

  9. I don't know you personally but I am grateful for the sacrifice of work, energy, time, love & testimony that you are giving to the people of the TN Nashville mission (I have family in your mission and grew up in TN). I stopped what I was doing today to say a prayer for Sister McKee and your family. "Thy will be done" and pleadings for peace, comfort, and most of all--miracles. Thank you for being such a strong, beautiful, inspiring family.

  12. I met you both in Nauvoo when you spoke to us and touched all of our lives with your strong testimonies and dedication to Heavenly Father, His Son Jesus Christ and His Church. You were both getting ready to serve your Mission in Tennessee. I shared some of my McKee genealogy with you both and we speculated that perhaps I really was not the first in my 9 generations to be a member of this great church.

In these great hours of trial and struggle may that peace that passes all understanding be with you all.

"Thy will be done" are some of the hardest words we will ever have to say, but, the greatest peace is in knowing that we know that HE knows the greater plan and always wants what is eternally best for us. You are a marvelous example to all of us as we read your blog and feel your faith, dedication, and strength. May you be carried through this time of uncertainty by your faith and the faith of all those who know and love your great family. May you feel the Saviors arms around you as He feels and lifts your pain. May Sister McKee be blessed with all those blessings He can bestow upon her at this time.

    Love and mighty prayers,
    Sylvia McKee
